Wraithy and Banksy Marathon Challange

Wraithy and Banksy Marathon Challange

Family Solicitors David Banks and Andrew Wraith are once again running in support of local charity St Oswald’s Hospice, having entered the Edinburgh marathon and Derry marathon respectively, starting on Sunday 31 May 2015.

St Oswald’s Hospice provides specialist hospice care to adults, young people and children with life-limiting conditions throughout the North East of England.

Whilst we are sure that there has in the past been work colleagues who have run a marathon together, it is believed that this is the first time two colleagues have run two different marathons in two different countries but on the same day. Neither of them has run more than 13 miles before so it will certainly be a challenge but one they are both determined to overcome. And, of course, they are both aiming to beat the others time.

Having previously ran the 2014 Great North Run dressed as a gorilla, David has no such intentions this time around and both Andrew and David hope to raise as much money as possible for charity in the process.

The Derry marathon is described as “challenging” and the Edinburgh marathon is equally as challenging. The hope is that together they can raise over £1000.00 for St Oswald’s Hospice.

Donations are of course warmly received and can be made at the following site:

On behalf of all at Kyles Legal Practice, we wish Andrew and David and all competing the very best of luck
